Hello...
i've installed power tow mirrors last year, the driver's side mirrors operates correctly, up/down/side to side, but the passenger mirror only opeates up/down, unless i reconfigure the wires then it'll move side to side, i've gone out and bought another mirror[used] and replaced the switch, went to the round hole under the mirror arm and spliced with the wires there, thinking maybe that one of them had a break somewhere, i just want to get the mirror to operate as it's suppose to. with the other mirro i bought, what i did was just wire with alligator clips and extra long wires to the second mirror sitting on the truck seat, before installing the mirror to make sure it work's and it does the same thing as the installed mirror, now i'm thinking maybe a wire buried in the door panel has gone bad, {side note:the truck came with powered mirror's, i'm using the wire's that went with the original mirror's and they worked correctly}.
anybody have any idea's what went wrong or what to look for, i'm about to just let it go as is, and adjust the mirror when i tow in that one position... ... it has me almost beat...
