I did a near identical pull with my 99, the truck driver would't listen and backed off the road in a muddy area. what these things do in 4 low is unreal

so what have you done to the rear axle assembly to protect against the stress of that axle hopping?

I have only upgraded the differential. I'm not sure exactly what Unit I'm using, but the last one was a $550 unit from Randys Ring and Pinion, and it has been holding up fine.

The factory dodge pieces either had to put up with a heavier foot, or were not as good as this unit// I'm not sure what exactly it was, but they didn't last as long. This is my 5th differential in the truck...

As far as the axle, nothing else has been done. I'm not sure what all blumenthal mfg does to their trannys, but they sure take all my abuse day in and day out (this is my 2nd one, and the 1wst one was not broken, I just needed teh bigger input shaft). Of course, the biggest BOMB in the drivetrain is Peters oh so sweet dual disc clutch...

Sweet vid's. It is amazing how much power you can put to the ground with 4-lo, in the 2nd vid.

Defiantly gives you the warm and fuzzy on what these trucks can do.
