Urgent - Trailer rental needed

I am upgrading to a 99 2500 from a 93. The 99 has the factory trailer towing package. My question is this: did Dodge put a pigtale harness (plug) under the dash for the brake controller like F*rd or was it still hard wired in 99?

There was one under the dash on my '98, pretty close to the brake pedal lever if I remember right. Paw around under there and you will find it.

Yep

Should be there if factory wired. It's a 4 pin plug under the dash - mine was taped on the left side (on the right if laying on your back) of the steering column. The plug was white and had a Red, White, Blue and Black wire in it.

If you need the harness Draw-Tite (pn: 18261) has them and so does Tekonsha (pn: 3020 or 3020p).

BTW - Be careful with the colors - Mine did not match to the same function as those on the brake control.

Thanks Everyone

Got the 99 home and yup, right where you all said it was. I gave my 2000 Durango to my daughter and pulled the Tekonsa out of it. I am going to assume that the plug is wired the same on the Ram. BTW... the Durango with a 360 V8, Trailer Tow Package and 3. 93 rear only sucked gas... can not pull worth a darn. :D
