This is an old video that has been around for a bit. From what I understand, the chevy owner was in the midst of a court battle to get gm to buy back the truck. He was on his second engine and was having issues with it as well. The jury bought his story and awarded him 60,000 so I read last year. By the way. anyone with a clue knows that you don't put the box truck on the flatbed backasswards like that. Of course his truck was overheating with that parachute holding him back.

I bet my G56 or NV5600 with the CTD's would not overheat the engine.

You're right of course, but what if it were an enclosed race hauler with equal frontal area and GVW? Chances are he'd be in the same boat. All of the truck mfrs give tow limits based solely on weight, but aero drag is a big overlooked factor.
 
That was a great video. . I like the Chevies, as my family has good luck with them, but they all agree after pulling next to me (or actually behind me most of the time) the Cummins is the champ of hill climbing. Scotty
