2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Towing Mirror Swap Anyone?

I Have A 2002 Ram 2500,with Power,heat Small Mirrors. I Want To Put Towing Mirrors On, But Want Power And Heat All So. I Have Heard That The New Style Flip Up Towing 2003-with Heat And Power Can Be Retro Fitted To Work On My Truck with Tne New Style Mirrors And Old Style Base Plates. Any One Do This Retro? And If So What Other Parts Are Needed . Help Help

Do a search on "Tow Mirror Swap" and you'll get more information than you can read about in an hour or two. You have the small mirrors, so unfortunately you would need a set of flip-outs from a 01-02 and a set from a 3rd generation. That's expensive. There are other solutions out there. I was lucky enough to have the manual flip-out and the bomb was not that hard.
