2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Towing mirror swap

Hey gang, I am going to be purchasing a pair of factory towing mirrors for my 2000. It looks like the A-pillar has to come off and how do the door panels, are they snapped in place? The old mirrors are heated and power so I wont be using those functions. Do you just tape up the electrical connections? Any help is appreciated.

the electrical connectors will stay in the door. I switch to towing mirrors every summer and back to electric mirrors in the winter.



Its simple to do



you dont remove the door handle or anything. just the screw by the mirror and clips along the front
