George--OOOPS!! Guy shot into the hood on a Ferd one time doing that. Lucky the projectile blew up between the layers in the hood and didn't do any damage other than to the shooters pride. Dad caught a side window on his truck one day, dang sling swivel studs. Glad my windows go all the way down, even in back. Good feature. Hope you got whatever you were trying to. BTW, how did you get that far back? Using the back door as a rest, shooting forward?

Headed to the hospital first thing in the morning (Monday) for some work on my ticker for the next few days but will be up, runn'n and on the road by mid week, if all goes well and nothing serious is found. Ive been planning this short trip for months. I was never planning the past 3 months of chest pains. No sleep for me tonight, Im feeling like a cat with its tail under a rocking chair. Totally stressed out.

About the same as this??? Seriously, hope nothing serious is wrong.

I ordered mine with them. They are great. Have a question on the mirrors. When they are flipped for tow does anybody have the mirror shaking/vibrating. Both of mine do it not bad but you notice it. When they are flipped back in they are steady.

Larry,

Mine are the same way... and the truck is just a few months old. The vibration isn't bad in the up position... . its just "noticable". I can live with it as long as it doesn't get worse.

Clip-on Towing Mirrors

Howdy. Here is (if I get the pic to attach) a picture from the driver's seat showing the clipped-on mirror and the view. I will post another reply with the picture of what they look like.

They did work OK, but real factory towing mirrors are better. But, $$$ are $$$.

Well, I should have taken the pictures while I was on the road instead of in my driveway. You can't really get a as good a perspective this way... but... this is what I got.

Here is a picture of the clip-on mirror from the front.

Here is a picture across my hood looking at the passenger side mirror. You can see how it's mounted this way.

Jengle... . re shooting your mirrors... got 2600 gophers in 4 days with 2 grandkids backing me up. Chunks of black plastic out there in an alfalfa field in MT. Didn't collect them and wish I had because I have to replace both mirrors to get plastic for one side. Love the mirrors. George
