Do they shake at highway speed ? My truck has some don't know where they came from but they are jjunk probably ehump specials

OK that's what I was wondering I know that the cheap ones shake really bad and that's what mine are so I was hoping that the genos ones wouldnt

I bought the Clear Vue (SP) replacements for mine. I was pleasantly surprised at how much they improved and updated the look of the truck. The mirrors are rock solid.

Where do the aforementioned brackets attach to? I wrapped the arm piece where it breaks away with electrical tape as a farmer fix for now. Right now don't have money for mirrors trying to update the god awful flatbed the truck came with so that's where my money is going next

I like genos bought quite a bit of stuff from them they usually dont sell junk but I wanted to see if anybody had the mirrors from them or if they just shake do to design

I purchased my mirrors from Genos a couple of months ago. They sell the Clear Vue show on the above pictures. Mine do not shake in either the mirror itself or the glass. I think Genos sells mirrors from other manufacturers too. My OE were electric and heated which significantly narrowed my choices. IMO you won't be dissapointed with the mirrors or Genos.

My mirrors are powered and heated. They come with all of the parts that you need. I do not know the part number. Geno's has a good list of applications. The only threads I found warned about pinching the wires upon install where the wires go through the doors. It's really hard not to do that. Dispite my best efforts, I managed to do so. It you are looking for aftermarket towing mirrors that replace the OEM, there are not a lot of options-at least I didn't find any.

Did you put the Geno's mirrors on your 97 or 98. There are no 97-2002 power/heated mirrors on Geno's. They only have 2010-2012 power mirror I've shown here.

so did you put 2010-2012 mirrors on your 97 or 98? It gets tricky doing this mod 0n my 97 as you said there are not many options. I believe the mount may not fit without other mounts added and the plugs are different etc.. At least that's my impression from what I've read so far unless I am wrong.

I found the mirrors I think you ordered by changing my search on Geno's from "mirrors" which got me Geno's 2011-2012 Kool Vue PN DG61EL to "Door Mirrors"...go figure! I assume you ordered these mirrors from Geno's 98-02 Kool Vue Power Heated PN KVDG33EL your 98:

or These for $154 Geno's 98-02 Kool Vue Power Heated PN KVDG49EL:

I don't know what it would take to fit these on my 97. I'll keep searching.
