What towing mirrors do you suggest?

I have the oval OEM pwr mirrors.

Do the '01 tilt-up OEM's fit? How much are they?

What about other brands? I want something that looks good, I don't want to put something on that looks 'cheap'.

Mopar Flip up's a simple 10 minute a side bolt up job.

Price ..... about $245 @ stealer

do a search for the part #

I have them installed on my 97, sorry no pics yet (except for a very sketchy one in my album

The 03's have power.......

There was a post where someone converted the 03 power towing mirrors to fit the second gens. That's my only gripe with the towing mirrors. You have to manually adjust them. Thankfully mine aren't one of those that got loose. They stay adjusted, and with the utility bed on the truck I never flip them down anyway.

I really like the PowerVision mirrors. Nice big glass, very little vibration for nice steady view and they move out 10 inches or in when you're not towing. I think they look good, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. They do work very well though. I got mine through Camper World with a good discount.

I'm in the process of changing to towing mirrors on mine. Eventually I am going to get a set of the 2003 mirrors and swap the parts. For now I'm going to just install the regular manual adj version.

I had a set arrive via UPS Ground. One mirror was damaged and unusable! So I called the dealership and they scheduled UPS to pick them up to confirm the damage and I will hopefully get a replacement set soon.

I dunno where they hire their gorrillas from but I've heard of 5ver hitches being damaged by UPS Grond! They just don't give a crap it seems.

take a look at the Cipa (Lucerix) mirrors. i have a set for my truck being painted to color match the truck--hopefully get them back today, and installed this week. heated and power. manual slide extension like the ferd sooper dooties. geno's has 'em for about the best price i've seen.

One more vote for the PowerVisions. They take a little longer to install since you have to install the retract/extend switch and the wire harness from the driver's door to the passenger's door, but it's worth it once you're finished. Power retract/extend, heat and full adjustments without ever leaving the driver's seat. :) :D

I put on a set of Cipa power and heated mirrors, Easy install, took less than an hour. The best part is I can see around my 38 foot enclosed goose neck trailer. I strongly recommend the Cipa. I got mine from Geno's.

Just received my 2nd set of Dodge towing mirrors (1st set damaged during shipping). This set looks OK. Gonna put em on just as soon as it stops raining. My previous Ram duallie had them from the factory, and I agree they are a pain in the rear when it comes to having to adjust them because when you get them set where you want them, and go to flip them to the towing position, they need to be adjusted all over again but it's not too big of a deal if there is a passenger with you at the time.

In my opinion the Dodge towing mirrors are the best looking ones, and the set on my duallie were solid and never blurred from vibration or wind buffeting. The small oval mirrors I have now do get a little wind buffeting but not too bad.

I'll take some pics during the install of the mounting hardware but it's pretty straightforward and a quick easy swap out. Hardest part is not breaking the plasic door panels. Even with the correct door panel removal tool that I bougt a couple weeks ago I still broke one of them! Those little barbed suckers can be difficult to pull out.

Any of you guys that are switching mirrors and have the factory power/heated smaller mirrors, and would like to part with the passenger side one, let me know, my dads '99 is in need of one, thanks.
