Towing mirrors

Just wondering if anyone has the CIPA towing mirrors and if so do you like them, any problems and so on. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Contact TDR member Kalaehina, I know he "had" CIPA's and swapped out to a set of 2001 Mopar Flip Up's. He might have them still, I don't know.

I have the CIPA's and love them. No problems whatever, no vibration, good rear view. I wish I had put them on sooner.

I have Kalaehina's CIPAs and I like them better than the flip ups I traded to him. He likes my old flip ups better than the CIPAs he traded me.



Go to a TDR get together and take a look at both. The flip ups for the '94-'02 are not power.

Sure the - 02's are power! You just have to get out of the truck to "Power" Them!



Either would be MUCH better than the junk OEM power non-flipup/out ones that Dodge put on these trucks. It was a stupid option, and shouldn't have been one, the 03's have the setup!

Are the 03 mirrors heated, power, and flip up??? Can they be put on an older ('01) truck??? Without an excessive amount of work!

Yes, the [optional] towing mirrors are all 3.



Of course, you DO have to flip them manually.



They even have a small "bug" mirror in the corner.

You can also put them on the pre-03 year, but you have to have a -02 model to tear apart to use the mouting bracket. The small plastic triangle in the corner where the mirrors mount are larger on the 03.
