Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Towing Rig Plans: Look Ok?

The 96 in my sig: Dragging around 12k or less most of the time.
These are my plans: 3gsk, #10 plate, HTT-62/14 (later).
Injectors also but they will be later also, any suggestions for the combo?
Are my plans askew?

Need to do the timing, I'm gathering tools for that right now.
Right now the HX that is in it isn't the healthiest and is pushing 40psi.
I know that it is short lived running like that.
But the wastegate is missing and instead of hanging a new exhaust housing and new WG on a worn out turbo that is out of it's efficiency range I'd rather go with something I can get lower egts' out of too.
I'm also trolling the classifieds.

If the transmission is stock, with those mods you better save some bucks for a transmission upgrade. Also go with 16 on the timing.

It's been rebuilt with an upgraded VB and supposed to be a performance converter, I am going to be easy on it.

I do know it will go out eventually when it goes out I'll get a good perf rebuild from Goerend or one of those.
