Let me know how it goes. On a separate note, with all of the warranty issues with Chrysler, are there any to be concerned with regarding the installation of the Brakesmart pressure sensor? I would hate to install a brake pressure sensor and then have an issue. We all know what it can be like to "deal" with the dealer.

I think that everyone should have have a BrakeSmart. The every day pullers can remember to adjust a crappy controler but the "now and then" guys probably won't. Having a BrakeSmart is the difference between stopping in 280feet and 350 feet or worse. Having a Brakesmart is the difference between a short burning your brake box to pieces and seeing a display that tells you of the problem. Having a BrakeSmart is the difference between having "flat spotted" tires and round tires, not to mention the life. Having a BrakeSmart is the difference between between 35k on brakes and 65k on brakes... or worse.



BrakeSmart is the only way to go IMHO. I've had several controlers and this BrakeSmart is by far the BEST I've ever had or used.





BrakeSmart saves you:



Brake life

Tire life

stopping distance

Liability

... ... . and possibly someone's life.

And for those who load equipment on your trailers..... BrakeSmart has a 15minute maximum lockdown feature. With the combination press of three buttons you can lock the trailer brakes for 15 minutes. Nothing will release the brakes but time and the "E" button. It's really a fantastic feature and something nothing else does.







Those with the Tekonsha, if you apply the hand brake (thing on the control) will your trailer lights work?
