Towing with an auto

Now I know why people recommend the 6-speed for towing. The fluild coupling sucks on a stock 48re. :{ Good thing I don't tow heavy or often. It's not too bad empty though. Someday I'll address that transmission issue. I guess I just got used to towing with my old truck, 475rwhp 6-speed, with the same trailer. :-laf

How's this, the fluid coupling in a stock 48re converter sucks. It doesn't transfer power too well when it's unlocked.
