Towing with edge ez

I am going to tow with my edge ez on #2 untill I get the DTT valve body installed then I will step up to #3. Does this sound good to you guys? I am worried about the slushbox and converter Oh by the way I tow about 16000 to 17000 gvw, about 8000 to 9000 trailer weight with 4. 10 gears and the stock converter. .

I have about the same setup as you, except in a 2500, with a 5 speed. I tow a 10,500 fifth wheel and have the EZ set in #2. The only difference in the settings is where the EZ program kicks in. It kicks in at 10psi boost in #2. The only reason to put in in #3 is if you want it kicking in at 2-4psi. this really isn't necessary, while towing, as you will develop 10psi pretty quickly while towing your weight trailer...
