Anyone know about TruCenter Sway Control?

03 3500 Flat Bed

What do you want to do with it? I have one about which I've just faced up to the fact that it's unsuitable for carrying the weight of my Jeep (overloaded tires--too many blowouts). I've gone through one wheel/tire upgrade when I changed from Samurai to Jeep, but now I'll need to go to forged wheels and Load Range G tires if I want to use it--that's pretty big bucks, and still doesn't address any axle or frame issues.

The lesson learned is you need to evaluate the payload capacity pretty critically.

Other than that, I'd be happy to address any specific questions you have.

All I'd be toting is my motorcycle. I was really wondering what makes / models are out in fifth wheel form. Is there anything specific I should look for in one?

There are several options available from a smaller 20 some foot to a 40 5th witha "garage" and separating wall/door

I opted for a 28' Desert Fox by Northwood Mfg. it has a GVW of 13500 and has e rated tires. it is a very comfortable trailer and has enough ground clearance for going to the trailhead. It also has a 35 gal gas tank for the gen and for fueling up the "toy"

Total on that was $25k

There is Thor which makes TT and 5ths of different sizes.

http://www.thorcalifornia.com/ these in 5th form are around $31K for a 27'

Alfa makes a 40' 3 axle with a Garage and 2 slides:eek: Too big if you ask me unless you have alot of toys and a big family... .

My 2 cents

Try www.gorving.com. Do a search for RV shows,Find a RV show in your area and go. There will be at least a dozen manufactures and you can look till you drop. Get the info do your homework . It's easy.
