Toyo M/T 35x12.50 R17

Anybody running a Toyo M/T 35x12. 50 R17 on their 3rd gen? I want to try something different other then the BFG 315's this go around. Pics would be great.

Great all around tire, but looks like they're only going to go 32,000 till they're bald... I guess the power upgrades haven't helped, but I don't tow much, and have never even done a burnout. In fact, I've not really been into the power very much due to still having the stock clutch. Very quiet tires, though, and good traction.

Did it seem to "float" a bit more when driving with the bigger nubs on the tire?

I just installed them on my truck and love them. I hope they last more then 32k since they cost so much. I have heard of a lot of people getting more then that. Mine are on the stock rims, with skyjacker D25's to level the front. The only place they rub is on the control arms for the front axle. I will try and get some better pictures this weekend. I have only had them on for about 1,000 miles so far. I took a 530 mile trip the other day and got 16MPG figuring in the speedometer error.

The tires rub on the control arm a little only when turning at full lock. I try not to do it, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything. I have 3. 73 gears and the G-56 manual trans, and it helped the gearing out alot. As far as the mpg change, I'm not sure. The truck continued to get better fuel economy after I put the Toyos on, but probably just because the engine was breaking in. I also have been changing things so much that it's really hard to say. I have the sps66 turbo which is considered to be a big laggy turbo, and isn't the best on fuel mileage. Even so, I've been tracking fuel mileage diligently, and average about 17. 2.



The tires handle very well, and I didn't notice any additional float. The ride actually seemed to smooth out some over bumps, pot holes due to the larger diameter. Speedometer/odometer is approximately 10. 76% off (As soon as Smarty comes out for the '06s, I plan on correcting). The tires do need to be rotated though. After 10,000 miles, my rear tires had 1/4" less tread depth than the front!!! (I do use the exhaust brake all the time, and have a few power mods though) After rotating for the first time, the truck felt squirmy for a while until the lugs kind of evened up again.

I have over 43k on my tires and my truck weighs 9k going down the road. I love these tires and will by another set when these wear out in 15-20 k.

Here's mine but 18" rims. I also had 315 BFG on my old 99 but now days there are newer and better tires out there. I love my Toyo's but as funny as it sounds my 99 w/ BFG AT did better in the snow the these bith aired to 12psi??? The Toyo's definetly look better. Check my sig for more pics

This was before I lifted it. It had zero rubbing zero issues for the 6 months before I lifted it

they work in Baja. Been running them for a few months now on my race truck and they have served me well. I have actualy blown a 3 inch round hole out of the wheel on a big rock and the tire was able to be re-mounted on a new wheel. They are real tuff, much stiffer sidewall than the BFG's

There just your typical Eagle 114's that can be found on ebay all day for cheap. I believe they are 9. 5" wide and there all the same offset I believe and they fit the Dodges well and dont look lame by sticking out. I think they tuck in as much as it can w/o being a clearance problem.



I think there still a set on the DTR classifieds for way cheap. I got mine from a fellow member for 5 for $500. That how much one of the similar looking KORE Welds go for. Yeah the Welds are rater about 200lbs more but theres a ton of guys running Eagles on their CTD's and not one problem

BigDan I don't mean to thread hi-jack the OP thread, but man your truck looks great. I love the wheels, lift and tires. What lift and shocks are on your truck if you don't mind?
