Stable Lift in a huricane!

I not sure of which tires the MT are, but most people like Toyo M-55, upto 60,000 miles, check out Hoss on the nwbomber site. I just purchased the E rated 285/75 x16 and they ride a lot better than the OEM michlins.

I just got the Toyo Open Country 285-70-17 along with MKW MK 25 wheels and so far so good, very smooth and quiet,I am a little worried about how they will react to towing the travel trailer. .

Heaviest ply I can find

To get capacity I need for rear this is the tire I am going to.

New technology uses offset tread patterns to cancel the harmonics generated by large, aggressive lugs, so no more annoying humming. Most importantly these tires have the 10 ply "E" rating, just like the tires that came on your truck as original equipment. Remember the "E" rating is not just a load rating - it's a rating of sidewall strength. All heavy duty trucks require "E" rated tires. Now available is the 35x12. 50x17 size for OE wheels.

I just installed 37x13. 5 R17's on my truck. They are awesome! They look great, ride nice and quiet and are supposed to wear really well. Time will tell. I have a couple friends with them also and they love them as well.

I Am Running 35x12. 50r17 Toyo Oc Mt's. I've Had Them On Now For 2,000 Miles So The Wear Part I Cann't Answer Right Now, On The Other Hand I Got My Mt's From Kore, Kent Told Me He Has Around 18,000 Miles On His And Are Worn About 1/2 Way. He Is Expecting Around 30,000/35,000 Miles. As For The Quite/ They Are Quite For A Mud Tire, But Not As Quite As An A. t. The Side Wall Is Very Strong And You Don't Have To Run Near The Air Presure Of Other Tires. Last Thing Is At Slow Speeds You Call Feel The Mud Tire Lug Vibs. That Is What I Can Tell You, From My Toyo's And They Grow On Me More And More Every Day.

We (I) need to see pics of your truck with the new tires on it. Oo.

Raminspeed, I built my own lift kit out of a couple different ones. I have the 5" ProComp kit which gives you a new adjustable track bar and complete new tie rods and drag link that changes the front steering so that the front wheels are tied together and the drag link attaches to it (the way it should have been!). This corrects a lot of steering/alignment issues. Instead of using the 5" spacers for the front, I ordered the 6" lift coils from superlift and 4" blocks for the rear. I also added the skyjacker dual steering stabilizer kit. I have had no problems with anything and it seems to ride better than stock!

I have the HT's on my truck and these are by far the best tires I have tried for highway driving. They even beat the Michelin LTX I have chosen on the last several trucks.

The Goodyears from the factory were messed up... cupping like mad and Goodyear blamed alignment, even though all was in spec. I finally gave up trying to get it right on the front tires and its the best thing I did getting the TOYO's.

I can run them near max pressure and had very little bounce... the badyears bounced bad at any pressure. I settled at 45 rear and 50 front on the badyears... I am at 70 rear and 75 front and all six TOYO's are wearing perfect.

Toyo makes some great tires!

i'm runnin the 35x12. 50x17s on my rig (see https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1255755&postcount=15 & gallery 4 more pix). like ccool, i've only had mine for a few thousand miles, but i LOVE 'em. best M/T's i've ever had, hands down. well worth the $$. haven't towed yet with them but am confident they will do fine. as others have said, the noise & wear characteristics are great for an M/T. add to that the E-rating & beefy sidewalss & such & you've got a great tire.

Nice  What shocks are you running? Thanks.

I've run Toyo M-55 on several trucks. Good aggressive MS tread and tough tire. However, I am so pleased with the Cooper Discover STs that I'm running during the winter that I may stick with them for the tough weather months. my . 02. :)
