RV bed on a 3500 Dually?

Stable Lift in a huricane!

Personally not all that impressed so far.

I have a bit of info on the TOYO MT's that some might like to hear.

A buddy of mine went and bought a set of TOYO's a few months ago and after seeing them I had to run out and put a set on my truck. (see gallery)

Problem is, we were out of town hunting this past weekend and he told his wife to go get the tires rotated. Long story short, The manager there measured the tread wear. When the tires were new they measured 21 cm.

Now with 3500 miles or so they are down to 12 cm. I know that there are a lot of variables in tire wear, but they are obviously new tires that are wearing way to fast. He drives like an old lady and has not towed anything yet.

I have only put 600 miles on mine in 2 months so there are really no measurements that can be taken.

Now I know this is just my opinion and every tire is different but for 8-900 dollars for a set, thought they would last a bit better.

Yeah, there's got to be some other factors in play. Are the tires wearing straight and flat? More inside than outside? ... and, as you all know, (as a rule of thumb!) don't trust the sales guy's opinion very far! Don't bite my head off for that, but do you trust a car salesman's info? How about a TV salesman? All I'm saying is get out and look at the tires and measure them yourselves if you want ACCURATE and UNBIASED details.

Anybody need to borrow the soapbox?

FWIW, I have over 30k miles on my BFG mudders and they have at least 10k left in them. Rotation and balance are key, as well as seeing issues before they get out of hand.

I've had my set on now for 20k miles. I've been rotating at 5k intervals. They look to be over 1/2 way gone.

They were surprisingly quiet when new, but get progressively louder the closer I got to 5k. Rotating doesn't help much with volume.

I run about 50 front, 40 rear.

I am running Toyo AT's and I absolutely love these tires - they are quiet, ride and handle great. I have about 15K on them and they seem to be wearing very well. I am running 325/50/22 on Weld Renegade Evo's and the offset is perfect with the Kore DRC Race System.

My regional guy from Les Schwab -

told me that they will not wear very well for on road use... ... as would be expected... ...

I've had two sets on my truck and have never gotten more than 30k miles out of them. I finally got a set of Firestones. Appears I'll get at least 45k out of them. Never buy from LesSchwab again. Love their service, but their tires just don't hold up.

I really like the tires; they are smooth and have great traction plus shed water well. However, I do not think they are wearing near as well as the Michlens that came on it. I probably have about 15K miles on the tires and they are showing some wear eventhough I keep them aligned, balanced and rotated.
