was on the fence for awhile but just ordered 37" toyo MT's will be alot better than the tires I have now will post a pic when they get put on next week.

I just got the Toyo MTs 285R75 16s



They are overkill for my application, I mostly tow on regular roads but I got 'em for 2 reasons

1) I wanted an E rated tire for towing, and 2) Iliked the 285s for pulling out of mud (where my trailer is always parked)



They look a little serious as I drive around town, but they ride a lot better than I expected. I have a set of 265s that I can swap when the mud is gone



Did you buy 'm at les schwab?

ordered with KORE they were the cheapest. and had someone making the trip up north who picked them up gave them some money for bringing them up and with the price of mount bal etc. still cheaper than LES Schwab.

I had Toyo 265 75 16. They were great for traction when I was parking my 5th wheel in a campground in the dirt. My complaint was that I felt they wore out too quick.

I have the 285/75-16's Toyo MT's, have just about 1/3 tread left at 24K. And that's a lot of gravel road too. Zero problems, except that I think they decrease fuel mileage a tad. But 30K trouble-free hard miles is alot to ask of a tire, so far this is the only tire that is up to that task. Just a question: does anyone else make a 10-ply/E-rated 285? At 1300 bucks a set it's a little spendy to run Toyo's, and I don't like running skinnies (265's), they require too much pressure, which sucks for offroading.

love my 37s. rated 4300 lbs. 30k and at least 1/3 tread left. rotate religiously around 8k and keep up with the air pressure. I run 45 front and 30 rear running empty. 45/45 when it's loaded up. i put them on 10" wide wheels for the best contact patch. I really didn't like the BFG M/Ts (also 37-17s) on 8. 5" wheels because they seemed to sway quite a bit while towing...

After 3 months, I traded my 285/75/18 Toyo AT's for 35/12. 50/18 MT's.

The AT's on my 9. 5 wide wheels rode too hard.



Previously I had 325/60/18(32") AT's, they were great tires, but once I lifted my truck, their diameter looked to small... . So I went with the 285/75/18's(35"), they fit the fender wells and looked nice, but rode like hell, even at 40psi.



I could have went with a 325/65/18 AT(35"), too wide for my wheel.



I really am not crazy about the aggressive tread of the MT, but right off the bat, my ride is much better.



Les Schwab has been great, they allowed me full purchase price credit for the AT's(about 3k miles on them) towards the MT's. I have to get used to the "off road" type look, but I am hoping the ride will win me over.

I will post pics when it stops raining. but have used mine 3 times now hunting in southern oregon and they kept a nice bite even on the rough logging roads. also noticed that when I got them balanced each tire took only 1oz. good product,

Your gonna love those tires, I have about 20,000 miles on a set of their M/T's and they are wearing well, I also run the front with a little more air than the rear and when loaded I match the air pressure.



They have great manners on the road, are very quiet and when in the slop the tread design will propel you further than you would have thought.



The next best that I have had were the Interco SSR's but they would never get the mileage that these do and the Toyo's take very small amounts of balance to get them perfect.
