I have LT265/75-16 Toyo Open Country ATs on my 1500 (over 3 years now) with a bit of towing. They are holding up very well. A bit $$. If I can swing it I would like to get Toyo's for my 3500, too.

I've run three sets of 285's and could never get more than 35K (not totally gone, but less tread than I felt comfortable with). Rotated faithfully at 5K and checked pressures once a week. Les Schwab dealer made such a good adjustment that I stayed with them... . dumb, I know. Otherwise, they were good tires... quiet, good on wet pavement. Don't tow.

Toyo finally came out with M-55's in 285 size, and I now have 35K on them. Looks like I'll get 45-50K based on current wear. They do sing some, but not enough to bug me. I'll buy another set of 55's.

I have had them on for about 8 months now and 10k miles. they show allmost no wear at all, and I dont drive easy. the sidewalls are a little to flexy for me, bu they do great and I ma very pleased with them, oh and they are 265-75-16E's

I had the Toyo AT's in the stock size. They were great tires when new but at 36k miles I wasn't comfortable with them on slick roads. I could have gotten maybe another 5k out of them during the summer months.

Great timing on your thread, I am needing tires (as soon as I get her back from the new crankshaft install) and was trying to choose between the A/T and the stock Michelin LTX M/S. Think I will spend the few extra bucks and go with the Michelins. I tow, and want well more than 50k from a set.
