i am looking at the toyo open country M/T tires 285 75 16

are they a good choice? are they any good in the snow?

i am running the BFG's now are they any better??

The toyos are a great tire But if you want really high mileage get the 10 ply hyperradial M55. They are more expensive but they are worth every penny.

I've been running the Toyo Open Country M/T for several months now (315/75/16). I had BFG MT before. The Toyos appear to do about the same in the snow, but are quiter on the road. They are made of a much thicker rubber than the BFG, are E rated and have a higher weight rating as well. Overall, I like them much more than my old BFG's, and I loved the BFG's.
