I want to get a set of 35/12. 5 R17 Toyo Open Country M/T's for my truck. I found them locally for under 3 bills a piece but no one has them and won't be able to get them for a while, since they are backordered nationally. Does anybody have any idea when they will be available? I have the funds available right now and don't want to spend it on something else if they will be available soon. I still have a little life in my BFG's so I have some time. Anybody?

I ran a set of Open Country's in 16" on my 99. The didn't wear well at all. The OEM Michelin's I took off at 48K still had about 10K miles left on them. The Toyo's were nearly gone in the next 30K when I traded it... my . 02 worth.

Yeah,a co-worker's AT is wearing very poorly on his Explorer. I can't imagine what a CTD would do to it. I wish somebody would come out with a high mileage "35x17" in a street/AT design in an "E" rating.

dick cepeck has an alterrean in a load range E in a 35 and a 37 a friend has the 37 and said they are wearing well

I have the open country a/t's on my dually. They are wearing well on the back, at about 25,000 miles with about 10,000 left. The fronts only have about 7,000 miles on them and still look new. These have lasted longer on the back than any other tire I have tried, and I have tried all brands. I usually wear out tires in about a year or 25,000 miles. these are the first A/T's I have had on the front, usually have a commercial grade highway tire. Being 2wd don't need anything else. So shall see what happens.

I logged onto the website and all I could find was the 35's&37's rated"D" @3000lbs. Look like nice tires though. Toyo I believe is the only "E" rated 35-12. 50-17 If anybody knows of another chime in. Thanks
