Toyota Diesel anyone?

I have found an old diesel toyota truck 88-82 in a field near a friends house. just wondering if anyone has any expirience with these motors, and would know whether it is even worth my time to inquire about this truck. I know the isuzus are popular with the bio-brewers and gresel people. But never heard of a toyota being mentioned. Thoughts anyone?

My dad has a 85 Toyota pickup with the diesel in it. . The truck still runs great for nearly 300k on it. He has changed the timing belt a couple of times and also the glow plugs. .

He loves his truck. .

pop had one before, he sold it when i was very young, and the guy who purchased it had to resleeve the engine at around 350,000km... [±220,000miles]

theres fewer of them so fewer of ever thing that has anything to do with them , but other wize good engine, very comin every other country.

I know a guy that had one of them, the body fell off of it before the motor quit running, for the right cost I'd look into it...
