A few weeks ago I posted a message about throttle position switch. Had several excellent responses, thanks guys.
Bought a digital voltmeter last weekend, readings are as follows,
Slow 0. 78 v
Max 3. 91 v.
Where do I go from here, is the switch U/ß? Cummins price is nearly $C220, Chrysler $C320.
Are these reading outside re-adjustment. This is not the first time I've had this problem, was set up in a shop early in the summer, OK until a month ago. Now, under 80k (50mph) it will not pull in OD keeps droppiing down to 3rd, over 80k as long as you can keep the speed up, nothing will stop it.
Thanks in advance.

'93 D250 ext. cab. Upgraded injectors, 3. 5" exhaust, K & N filter, Xmsn oil cooler and fan, 4 gauge mount, mirror tubes reversed, RACOR fuel filter, larger transmission oil pan.

Ian the reading at idle should be 1 volt. There is a 10 mm adjustment bolt underneath.
You can try adjusting and see if it helps.
The problem with the tps is the contacts get dirty inside and also they wear through in places over time.
The top can be remove and the inside cleaned with some electrical contact cleaner. If the problem is caused because the contacts are dirty this will fix it. If the problem is because the contacts have worn through then it will need to be replaced.
