occasionally I have had problems with my truck going in and out of lock up (hunting), which I assume by reading alot of the post is probably from the TPS, about a month ago my cc quit, could this be related to the TPS even though the symptoms of the trans are only every now and then, also I replace the speed sensor, checked all vacuum lines and plug ins, nothing has worked so far, what else could check... ... ... ... ... . thanks

The vacuum line under the driver's side battery may have a hole in it. Especially if you have had a battery problem that caused a drip. The other thing to check is the brake switch. It has a separate circuit for the cruise control so it may be bad and the brake lights still work fine. If you don't have a service manual e-mail me and I'll send you the procedure to remove, check, and adjust the switch. Also make sure that the cable from the cruise control to the throttle linkage is ok.
