2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission TPS, cruise control and TC controller

I'm having several problems ...



... Climbing a hill, empty, @ 55, I press the pedal a bit further and the transmission locks and unlocks the TC



... Cruise control works fine till i step on the brake and then it turns off (no light) and won't turn on again till i restart the truck



... My ATS TC controller no longer works





Is it possible all these are related? Should i replace the TPS? ($234. 00 from my dealer!)

166 at NAPA and I don't know if it's the same problem

rest assured you that NAPA does NOT carry the tps for your truck. an oem item only... ... $150 at any dealer. call around.

I gave $157 on Monday for a new T. P. S. Cummins was of no help and stated "The T. P. S. must be a Dodge part only"! The new "dealer" part came in a Cummins box. Shop around!



I looked at a lot of old posts here and found part numbers for Dodge, Cummins and also NAPA (Echlin). I had the NAPA number crossed over to Borg Warner and was told it could be ordered and received in about three days. Ended up at the dealer!
