Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) TPS where to buy

I am trying to buy a new TPS for my 95 3500. Can anyone tell me where I can by one at some reasonable price?

I just bought one myself and I found that the one from Cummins was a little cheaper, maybe $5-$10. I priced one from Dodge, O'Reilly's, and Cummins. You might try Tenafly here:

I don't but my best Pal Ray does. what I need is a new 5 speed lost 5th last week got one coming from American Standard... ... ... ... ... norm

Reason I asked is that they seldom go bad. Of course if he doesn't have one at all that would be a good reason to be looking for one. A few months ago, someone had several of them for sale in the classified section for $60 apiece. I took a chance and ordered one from him for a spare. It was brand new in a Cummins box.

He had another ad since then but sold out real fast.



Bummer on the 5th gear problem. I recently replaced my auto with one from DTT. That really knocked a hole in the savings account.

The reason we are replacing the TPS is probably more to eliminate it than anything else... . Very hard to trouble shoot this problem as it may work good for months at a time. . I've tried many of the suggestions on this forum with no luck yet. . would be a lot easier if Ray and I lived on the same Coast... . My 5 speed went south when I had my Gearvenders installed... . They forgot to fill it up with OIL and blew it up on the test drive... . the rebuilt they install started to chatter in 5th after the warrenty expired so I've had this planned into my bugdet for the last 40,000 miles... ... ... ..... but it still hurts..... norm
