Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Bad leak!! Brake fluid?

Hi everyone. I am a newbie and just now learning to navigate in here.



I have a question regarding my TPS. It is reading normal with the truck off and the key in the on position. When I check the TPS with the engine running and in the PARK position, it reads 3. 3 volts (78% full throttle). This effects my overdrive.



Can I (should I) take the TPS apart and clean it to see if it will correct itself or just buy a new one from Cummins (or somewhere else)?



Your help and knowledge is greatly appreciated.
 
Thanks for the info. I tried to adjust it already, however, looking at these directions I may have not done it correctly. I will check it out tomorrow and decide if I need to purchase a new TPS.



I also feel like I need a new fuel shut-off selenoid. Is there a procedure similar to the TPS I should check for before shucking out the dough.

My FSS may not be bad. It has been disconnected for years by the previous owner. I hate having to get out, pop the hood, shut her down.



I just assumed it was bad and decided to ask the advice of TDR just to make sure. Thanks everyone for your help.

The info I aquired is the way some people still test your truck but its said not to work every time . THe new stuff is right on !!!!
