Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) tps

my check engine light came on this a. m. it was 0122 tps. what I'm wondering is can I get this sensor from a napa or should it be from a dealer. I've heard that it needs to be from the dealer because that's the only way it can be calibrated? they are available from napa for 149. 00 but at the dealer they want over 350. 00. any help would be appreciated.

you can get the sensor from anywhere. the calibaration is done by matching the tag on the new unit to the output by adjusting it in its mounting slots. then disconnecting the batteries to reset the ECM.

Is there any way to test the tps voltage withought a scanner?
