Wade,
First off about the corp sponsorship deal you are referring to, that was just you saying what you could do. As I told you then,we get offered sponsorship all the time ,that does not mean we persue or accept them. We have to use and test a product personally in some way before we comment. We never even sent anything for sponsorship to you or Amzoil as we figured if Amsoil wanted to work with DTT I'm sure they would have contactedus directly. So about what we could have had who really cares. It is not generally our policy to recommend brands of fluid period. We have commented on synthetic or non synthetic ect. type 3 or type 4 and have recommended the plus 3 over the plus 4 as they have less friction modifiers. The only reason I even posted on here was because Wade made comments suggesting DTT recommended one brand of fluid over another and felt I had to clarify. I also wanted to make clear that Wade is not now or has not been in the past a a DTT installer.
If by saying that I don't want my customers going to a competitor builder offends you then again your problem. It is my job to ensure that our customers have the proper recommedations and that includes installer information as they are the one paying the bill and we want to make sure they get the job done properly. As for my customers having had work done by you Wade, I couldnt name one that I have recommended to see you so none of those comments make any sense either, especially since I have no record of ever selling you any transmission parts. We have had guys in the past claim they are DTT this and DTT that to get our customers to call them but that does not make it true. Heck we even have a customer warning on our website about it, you will note it was put up at least a couple of years ago to warn customers against these practices. DTT head office is the only one that recommends or makes decisions of that kind and we track the installer information . That is why there is not a posted list. It can and has changed over time. Most of our customer base do their homework and we work with them very closely anyway on thier jobs.
If NADP treats you great, good for you, although I do remember a thread were you had some egg on your face because of them (about CP3 pumps) where you say that it's NADP's set-up available through you when it's really Floor-it Diesel's product. I am not sure why you think we have things to discuss on or off line as this is a clarification post only.
elandon1201 hit the nail on the head.
Chris, we think oil is a personal choice as we have not tested and personally used all brands it would not be fair to comment on one over the other .
You will be in very good hands with John.
