I recently replaced my track bar and now my steering wheel is rotated about 45 degrees to the left when I'm pointed stright down the road. The last tme I changed the track bar i didn't have this problem. There is no more discernable pull than before but the crooked wheel drives me nuts. Can I straighten the wheel without throwing all of the other steering out of whack?

Well I would find out why this new track bar has repositioned the the front axle off to one side. Where did you get the new track bar? I did the third gen conversion years ago and do not recall such an issue. There is an adjustment collar in the drag link from the pitman arm to the passenger front wheel that allows for adjusted minor corrections to steering wheel centering. There is not anything that I can find in the manual other than center the steering wheel. 45 degree's is not that far. Adjust it back to center at the drag link.

Snoking

I suspect the issue with the track bar is that it came from Auto Zone.......I know it's terrible but it's a free warranty replacement and right now I need to save every last dime I can.

The NAPA one I installed was lifetime warranty. I got sick and tired of replacing it every year so I went with the DSS adjustable 3rd gen track bar. When u have the funds it's worth it!

It's nice my new to me 98 is a 2wd!

I got that same bar from cumminsperformanceparts when I got my 01 and it's really nice. Very easy to install the bracket no drilling from what I recall. Nice beefy bar, definitely recommend
