I have a 2003 track bar in my 2000. The bushings are worn out. Are they replaceable? What is a good brand and part number if replaceable?

The stock track bars have a lot of deflection, you would be much better off buying a high quality aftermarket track bar over trying to replace the bushings in the stock one.

I am on a limited budget so want to repair if possible. The 2003 bar is a lot larger than the stock 2000 one and doesn't have that stupid tie rod type end that wears out. Also on mine the power steering repeatably leaked on the driver side busing and the fluid destroyed the rubber in it.

Search on line for Energy Suspension, give their Tech line a call. Explain what you are trying to do and they should be able to come up with a part number for 2 piece replacement bushings that are easily installed. Also, suggest installing a zerk fitting before installing new bushes.

I found these, MOOG K80777. I have used Energy Suspension bushings on my 1992 W250 front springs and they don't hold up. The Moog ones are made from different material so hoping they hold up. Lifetime warranty too.
