Hey guys dealer said i need a track bar. Should i get the one from dodge for $287, and then put Lukes Link in it or should i get a DT or someting of comparison. Don't now the price of any aftermarket ones, are they better.

What is involve in changing one of these, is it easy, moderate or hard,

Do i have to have the allighnment done after i do it.

Any help would be a benefit thanks guys

Darian from DSS has a bracket to install a 03 track bar on the 2nd Gen. I believe the price is around $130 for the bracket plus the track bar. It will be the last time you will need to change it. It's the way I'm going when I need one. It's not bad to change. Hope this helps. Jeff

Thanks guys i am probably going with Darin of solid steel rout or the DT trackbar. Of those who have the DT trackbar what is installation like. Any special notes.

DSS will not fix the problem if the trac bar is bad. I went with a aftermarket trac bar with a lifetime warranty. I also installed a new steering stabilizer. I put a DSS on it to tighten up the steering box. I did the box adjustment also.

It improved it a lot. The problem I have now is from the over center adjustment on the steering box. I have a new PSC box odered to fix it. :D

An alignment would be a good idea after all the new parts go on.

No special notes really. The instructions are rather straightforward and easy. The hardest part is drilling the holes because of their location.

Take good measurements before you remove the original track bar and you should be fine.

Hey Ron, Darian has a new bracket that uses an 03 track bar. No more ball & socket joint. They have a picture of it on there web site. Jeff

Just put on a new one from TRW (aka Moog)...

Dang bit heavier than stock and a lifetime warranty. Cost a little over a hundred bucks at Advanced Auto. Steering wheel is off center by a couple inches due to length change, but I changed springs a couple weeks ago too, so everything needs to be checked anyway.
