Hello, I'm looking to upgrade my track bar from stock. I was interested in the SS third gen setup but my Fisher plow's left bracket utilizes two of the steering box bolts. The bracket would be in the way of the 3rd gen bracket. What's everyones suggestion's? Wish I didn't have the plow setup but cannot be without it 4 months of the year. Fabricating a new mount is beyond my capability. Thanks Tony

I have a Blizzard plow & thuren bar, with no ploblems. I almost changed over to a meyers...

I feel your pain. I had to remove my mounts to staight them (previous owner) so I added steel for 2" more of adjustment to lower my push beam if needed (for the leveling kit & 33" tires). They only build plow mounts for stock trucks.

I run a Blizzard 8611LP on my 97 dually. Lazarsmith 3rd gen trackbar bracket is going on the truck this week. Was really close to the Blizzard mount, but will fit like a glove. Thurens would work too, but these trucks get a beating in our Iowa winters with the salt and I felt more comfortable with the 3rd gen style bar over the stainless ball. Haven't sized up my 97 2500 with a Hiniker yet, but I think both of the above listed options would work.

I have a fisher on my truck and use the Thurens track bar. I had to make one minor cut with a sawzall to the plow mount and re-weld it. The worst part of the whole job was having to take the mount off, damn simple job took two days. The process of cutting and welding took 10 minutes.
