You might also want to consider Lindstad Alignments -

http://www.blackhills.com/lindstad/

or Luke's Link

http://www.lukeslink.com/

Both of these have some ability to adjust for wear; both have some reports of rubbing the diff cover on some trucks, but the amount of interference is so small that either grinding on the link assembly or dimpling the cover with a hammer at just the right spot will correct it.

I've just got a replacement bar from Lindstad in the mail, but haven't had a chance to install it yet so I can't give a user's report.

The wearability of my Lindstad bar seems good, but as you'll see elsewhere on the roundtable, now that I'm changing to the MHT front cover - its a BIG no go!! The Lindstad is

3/4" longer in the ball stud sleeve than the OEM. Keep that in mind...

The lifetime warranted Napa bar has worked fine for me but it only cost $169 two years ago. Changing the entire bar is just as easy as changing just the ends if it wears out and it's free. Can't imagine the price jumping that much, make sure they are using the right number or try a different Napa.

A word of caution on the luke's link - the outside diameter of the replacement link is pretty large. I had installed it on mine to find out when I hit a bump with the left tire the link would actually hit the differential cover. this is not typical on all 4x4's because of the location of the axle. When the alignments are done the front axle can be shifted forwards or backwards by the cam bolts. If the axle is too far forward the link will hit. So I took the link off and bought a moog track bar for $138. The lukes link I will keep to use on my other truck which, being a 1 ton dually, 2 wheel drive straight axle. And there is plenty of clearance.

Moog it is

It would be nice to find a better price.

Both auto parts stores I called are considered low priced in this area. One was $211, the other 199.

Anybody in the NW know of a better source for Moog?

Tried Shucks and B&B.
