If you only have $36 to spend on your truck, buy urethane track bar bushings. All I can say is WOW. Specifically, no more swimming the truck down the highway. I did not figure I would notice any difference at all. The only reason I did it was so the tire shop didn't have any more excuses for not getting the balance right. The steering is more responsive. No more aftershock after going over bumps. I don't think it is because of the age of the stock bushings either. I remember a new '99 I drove 10 years ago that acted the same as mine. I was always correcting and over correcting the steering. If I let go of the wheel the truck went straight down the road. I am convinced that the stock rubber bushings allow too much movement. I think my brother is going to get a set for free; my treat.

No problem. They were the Luke's Link Track bar bushings. I bought them from Geno's Garage. (LUKESLINK_BUSHINGKIT2) '03-'07-Red Bushings. The old ones are a Sleeve/rubber/bushing sandwich and need to be pressed out. Or you can do the Ford Ranger pivot bushing trick of drilling out the rubber around the bushing until a stack of washers on a bolt will remove the center and then smash out out the sleeve. Find a press or u-joint/ball joint tool. I did the install. I bought a 12 ton H-press years ago. Another good decision.
