If you only have $36 to spend on your truck, buy urethane track bar bushings. All I can say is WOW. Specifically, no more swimming the truck down the highway. I did not figure I would notice any difference at all. The only reason I did it was so the tire shop didn't have any more excuses for not getting the balance right. The steering is more responsive. No more aftershock after going over bumps. I don't think it is because of the age of the stock bushings either. I remember a new '99 I drove 10 years ago that acted the same as mine. I was always correcting and over correcting the steering. If I let go of the wheel the truck went straight down the road. I am convinced that the stock rubber bushings allow too much movement. I think my brother is going to get a set for free; my treat.
