JJW, getting the track bar out isn't the problem for most people. It's getting it back in. I found that if you install the axle side first, you can start the engine and with one hand from under the truck turn the steering shaft (Careful, spinning stuff close by) until the ball join lines up with the tapered hole in the bracket on the frame. With your other hand slide that baby in and start the nut. It worked well for me, hope it helps.
