I have tracking numbers!!!!!!!
Here is the rest of the story... (just e-mailed to me after sending another threat)
When I got to work on Monday the tracking number for both boxes was given to me. When I checked them out they only had verification on the first one. The second one was being held in a UPS depot in Los Angeles. They would not ship it any further because it was 151. 75 lbs and their limit was 150 with no exceptions. The head weighed 154 on my scale and I thought by pulling the valvetrain (7. 5lbs) we would be safe. When it was picked up there wasn't any issue. To make matters worse, the head could not immediately be found at the depot by LAX. I had to take the day off work yesterday and drive down, pay for shipping, find the head and bring it back. It was repacked on a pallet and was picked up this morning by Watkins Transport. The shipping costs are now over double what I quoted you, which I am gladly going to eat in this transaction. I am so humbled and sorry for all the hardship this is causing you and the worry you have been put through. My lesson in all of this is that sometimes the best laid plans will blow up in your face when left to others. You should see the first box any day now and the transport in about 5-6 days.
Once again, sorry for the inconvenience.
