Traction Control Springs

Bought a set of Hellwig Traction Control Springs for my 2003 -- but to install they need to mount on top of a "C" shaped clip that's around my leaf pack. In other words -- they won't lay on top of the leaf pack w/o removing that clip.

Anyone else experience this problem? Solution?

i read in a post that some said the rear suspension needed to be at full droop. not sure if that changes the c-clip position or not. let me know what you do i am ordering these also.

Sounds like your pack retainer clip is in the way and they are a bear to remove and replace on the vehicle. I suggest call a spring builder to ask if its safe for removal. { probley not}.

That sounds like the clip alright. Holds the leafs together about midway between axle and mount point on frame.
