Competition Bullydogs New Duramax....

Ok you fast two wheel drive guys , what type of traction / ladder bar is good for drag race application? What are you using?

Not that I race or anything but I have been doing reading up because I plan on making my own 4 link system but I think thats the way to go for racing so you can pre-load them as well. I have some links at home I can post later that describe what I am talking about. Right now I have the Fabriteck stage II that I got through National Tire and Wheel you can see them on my web page link in sig there pretty sweet for current power level, and quiet because of the poly bushings. I like they way bolt up in the rear too under the block.

I saw that Diesel Trans Technology has custom traction bars listed on there site. Last time I looked there was not info about em, but they are listed. I email Stephan about them and he said they are built by a local race shop and are very nice, but $$$. (and no I don't know much $$$).

Whitmore, from what I understand it's not the wheel hop as much as the rearend moving back and forth. Remember when Bill K. kicked the driveline out of Stefan truck at May Madness, he said the rearend was moving allot. I'm looking at them too but I don't like the current design, way too big for a 2WD.

Definatly a must for pulling not as much for wheel hop but more for controling axle wrap.

I have seen a set that DTT had installed on a local truck here and they are sweet :D

I have these on mine, they're proven on another pullin' truck with far more power than me, I will see how they work in front of a sled in a couple weeks. At the track they work great, as they do on the road. They articulate well, no binds all all. I tow, and haul heavy wieght in the bed all the time, they work great. I built them, but if anyone's interested, I can build more.

Later, Rob
