I am going to WATCH. We will be there tonight (Friday) in a Graphite Dodge with www.westtexasturbodiesel.com on the back window. Any fellow TDR guys stop by and say HI.

I'l be in a white 2500 4x4 with a cawl hood and eatin chevys ****in fords on tail gate.



I went last night with a friend to watch and let me tell you if you don't want to pull the best way is to not take your truck. because something comes over you and you will pay any amount to get out there. I beleive Mark Kendrick (sorry if misspelled) was out there in his 98 12 valve and got second. its 25 bucks to pull and you can do it all three night or two night s now and it 10 bucks to watch. if you are going to just watch the diesels pull then I wouldn't get there until 11:00-12:00 but I would recomond watching them all there are some really nice rigs out there. oh I will be getting there about 8:00- 8:15 tonight hopefully I will see all of yall out there. have a safe trip up.

Kenndrick got 2nd huh? Cool beans. I think next year we should get Sleddy down to show them how it's done, and get some intrest.



As for not taking your truck if you don't want to pull, just get a 2wd, you'll be able to tow your buddies home!

Well I made it on Thurs night with Kendrick. He had a good run and took 2nd on the pull. The truck ran great and looked great too. Unfortunately, after pulling out of the parking lot to head back to Dallas the transmission went klunk, so it was a long night getting towed back to Dallas.



Anything good happen on Friday NIght? Who ran, and was the white flatbed back in the race with a new clutch?

The flatbed was back last night with a different driver and he got first by 13 or 14 feet I think ( you can't hear the announcer cause the pa system sucks) the powerstrokes showed everybody what they were made of (which wasn't much) and not one duramax showed up, I think there were 29 in the diesel class. My unit stayed in the parking lot and my 25 dollars stayed in my pocket, I'm not scared to pull, just scared of my wife. What did ya'll think of the 6. 0 powerstoke with the straightpipe,man I hope he don't think it sounds good. (yuk)

Flatbed.

I watched the whole thing. The powerstrokes did more than I expected (one or two of them). Dodge's sure dominated. drice, nice run lots of smoke, looked like you just ran out of traction. I'm glad I didn't take mine, the autos just dont work too well. How bought that green flatbed, dam that was fun to watch, I think I got a picuture with the white clutch smoke rolling out. I'll post some pics later.

Looks like I will be down for a couple of weeks... think I fried the throwout bearing, and have to drop this BOMB of a transmission... Love the transmission, but it SUCKS to do it! Oh well, I may take a day off work and knock it out in one day. It WILL be running soon enough, and we will have the YOUNG GUNS get together sometime, maybe when we get the pool completed here in the backyard... What do y'all think???
