Attn: Home network gurus - HELP!

Anybody know any good sites for tractor pulling info? I'm looking for info on pulls in the NW, and tips for setting up tractors to pull. I've got a '58 JD 730 I'd like to start farting around with, and maybe if I get the bug I'll find me an old Oliver (Super 66?) with the detroit. Not looking to de-throne Gene, just have a little fun.

Yes, I know antique tractor pulls are "like watching parking meters expire". Heck, don't have much else to do.

well i cant help you but i had the same question about pulls in the south Tenn, Ken, Ga, NC, SC area? well any pulls to be honest. I am moving to Nashville, and love going to these, and dont know where to find info on when, where and all that stuff

The best place to find sled pulling event infomation is on www.enterpriseengine.com Lorretta is pretty up to date on most known pulls.

There all ALWAYS tractors at there listed events not sure about antique though

Around here they take antique tractor pulls pretty serious. I have taken my JD D to a couple just for fun. But these guys are to "into it" for me. They have oversize tires, weights all over, special lenght and height hitches. You can't compete with a farm stock tractor, you have to do it for fun and laughs.

I didn't say they weren't fun to compete in! Go have fun, build a sled and start your own club. There are old tractors everywhere.

You can be trend setter.
