Today I was at a vintage tractor pull. It was a very informal affair and when they were doing the tractor registration, I asked if I could run my Dodge. They wouldn't let me do to fear that I would break something in my driveline. I was pretty disappointed, I'm sure most of the people there would love to have seen my truck give it a go so they could compare the tractor distances to something common.
My friend who runs the tractor pull in another town said he'd let me hook up at his event but I'll be away that weekend.
I'm wondering if anyone else has hooked their truck up to a sled before? How did it do? How stock was it? Just curious if I would have made an *** of myself as usual.
I'm thinking I could do quite well with my 33" tires and snow chains on the front.
