Attended a Southern company sale in Newnan GA today, assorted junk, trailers, bucket trucks, and lots of pickups. after all the junk and equipment was sold, they started running the pickups thru, I looked down toward the junk and see a 3500 Dodge with a gooseneck trailer behind it being loaded. The trailer had 1 axle with dual wheels, went to talk to him and was wondering how he was braking that kind of axle, usually they are air brakes, looked in the bed of his truck and saw an air hose connected to a compressed air tank, like a large oxygen tank, he was from NC and said that he had gone thru 3 air compressors before he found out about using the compressed air tanks, said they usually last about 4 months. Told him about the TDR site and had heard of several people trying to make a compressor work and they might be interested in trying this.
