I got the backup camera installed on the trailer today and started making adjustment to the field of vision. The camera has wide angle lens but not to the extent that distorts the picture.
I've got it adjusted now so that I can see the ground 10 feet behind the trailer. That gives me a good view of traffic and will allow me to see if I can pull back into the slow lane after a lane change. I'm not sure if 10 feet is close enough to the trailer. That measurement is on the ground, so if there is a post, fire plug, 3' tall child, etc. the distance is much closer.
Any recommendations? Thanks!
Les
