Trailer Brake Plug

Can anyone tell me where the plug for the trailer brake controller on a 98 with a factory tow package is located. Thanks, Jeff

Under the dash...

It is located on the left side of the steering column behind the knee panel. It may be loose, or attached with a tie-wrap. It is usually closer to the pedals than to your knee. It wasn't easy to find, but once located, I sure makes hooking up a brake controler a simple task!

Greg. Thanks for the info. I found the connector. The bad news is some moron cut all but one wire off of the back of it. I have a controller installed now, I wanted to install a new style. I guess I’ll have to wire from the old controller. Sure would have been nice to plug and play. Thanks again, Jeff
