Where are getting a hitch plug at? There is none of the stores in my area sells a 2 1/2" hitch plug. Only the 2" I had one of the ram rubber ones when I bought the truck last yr and it either blew off or someone wanted it more than I did.

If you're talking about the electrical plug, there is no difference between the 2 in & 2.5 in. It's 4 pin or 7 pin. There is a 6 pin for gooseneck, tho

I think he means the little rubber cap to go in the hitch itself. I've never seen a 2.5" one... any reason you don't just have the 2" reducer sleeve and place a regular cap on that...?

Whoops, I didn't look at composition. I did see the e-bay items this morning when digging deeper. I'm thinking dealer item at this point.

I'm going to check my Dealer Connect site and see what the part number might be.

What option gives the Class V hitch? 3500 series? I need a place to start where I don't have a VIN in this case.

No Luck, I can find the factory 2 1/2" to 2" adapter sleeve but no plug. I can't see everything and wonder if it comes in some kind of accessory pack with the truck. I used a 2016 3500 series and it did have the Class V hitch.

Bob 4X4 or Sag2 have more access and can probably root the part number out.

The nylon one looks like the end caps on most travel trailer bumpers. A hard nylon, but effective seal.

The hollow bumpers on a TT are a good place to store grey/black water tank hoses. And they usually stay on pretty good.

Good thing is, they aren't nice enough for someone to steal. Bad thing is they discolor and show scratches
