Not really a trailer question, but more of a truck question. I'll acknowledge I haven't tried to troubleshoot yet, but thought I'd see if the TDR brain trust might have had something like this occur. Hooked up my gooseneck flatbed this morning. Used the 7 prong plug in the side of the bed. Right trailer lights did not work, the left ones did. Got home, moved the connector from the bed plug to the bumper 7 prong plug and all the lights work. Pretty well isolates it to the in bed connector, but as I mentioned, I haven't tried a continuity tester or anything yet. Any quick ideas? Still under warranty so if it's not just something simple, the dealer can fix it. Thanks.

Sounds like a bad connection were the two split under the bed. I found corrosion in the "y" connector, with one pin shorted out and needed re-soldering! Time to get the DVM/AVM or the continuity tester out and check. Are the spring terminals all in place and not pushed in? Good time to check it as even if under warranty, how long would it take them to fix and return to you? Good Luck.
