Flip out mirrors

I have installed the flip out mirrors on my 95. Yours should be the same. Note however, that they are not power. That is the trade off.

They will work on all 94-02 Rams. They all mount the same way. Just spend the extra cash if your going to get them (i. e. not E-bay) and buy them from the dealer b/c the kit comes with a heavy duty backing plate to be installed inside the door panel to help with the extra width/weight/leverage of the larger mirrors.

Trust me you need it!

Was racing a Chebby 2500 down the interstate one day (open road  :-laf ) and my mirrors were up. :( I actually think they were pulling my doors open somewhat at the front!

flip ups

Took the downloaded price from Koller to my local dealer, they were not happy but did match it. Figuring what freight has to be, I may have saved a few bucks. Gotta love it,haggling a dealer down! We need to keep track of the ones who help us out, and give them credit when they do. Don.

I have the power/heated flip up mirrors, and THEY ROCK!

yes, I did the conversion. It is one of the best things I have done! yes, it was a little pricey, but well worth the time and effort. All you need is a 3/8" socket w/ socket wrench, extra wire, butt connectors, vise, hammer, mechanic's wire, and screw driver. Just a thought.

Charlan. What is the part number?

flips

Wow! A part that DID bolt right on! These flips are the ticket(till I can afford to convert em to power!) for regular driving too. Luv em. Don. Oo.

Part Number for 2003 Mirror

I also have a 2001 and will be completing this conversion. The Dodge dealer says he needs a VIN number to order the correct 2003 mirror. Does anyone know the correct part number for the 2003 powered trailer mirror that I will install on the 2001 base plate? Thanks for your help. Oh by the way Koller Dodge has new owners and will not honor the $199 price on the 2001 tow mirror package. My local dealer if offering $525 for both sets seems to be a decent deal??
